Here's an unreleased song I've been working on lately.
Only Ones Capo 3 Verse Em G (Can add D) There ain't nothing to it. I'm gonna go with the flow. When I'm riding up to it. I'm gonna let you know. Chorus Am F C G If you feel the same way, I do. Won't you let me know. Cuz I just want to talk more about God. And I won't be the only ones. Won't be the only ones. Verse 2 It was a sunny, sunny day. Just a few years ago. I want to be by your side. On the streets of gold. Chorus Bridge Em G B7 Something like a wave When we do or do not meditate. Lines are precious so we emit change. Em G B7 I won't be the only ones. Don't wanna be the only ones. To show you love and guide you to a higher place. Chorus

Hey guys. Wow, has it been a long time since I've posted here. I just wanted to blog, because I recently shared some poems to Instagram and Facebook and I figured I would explain why. It's been a few years since I've written a song, and I apologize for the silence. To be honest, I have had my nose in dozens of Christian books, that have been teaching me about the precious Word of God. I have yet to discover a good "writing room" for music and I've just kind of been quiet, taking a break from writing. However, I do miss it very much. There's nothing like expressing your emotions and thoughts through writing songs. I used to really enjoy experiencing that release and I miss it very much. So I figured, a good way to dip my toes into the writing process, once again, would be to write poems. I remember in the past, a song can form very fast, just from writing a poem. You write the poem, grab your guitar, and boom, some verse melodies are formed and some chorus melodies are formed. And then you kind of ponder whether you want to write a bridge or not. Anyway, without talking forever here, I just want to say happy Mothers Day to all the amazing Moms out there. I know we did our best to spoil my Mom on Mothers Day and we're looking forward to going out to eat. Love you Mom! So before I share this poem, I just want to say thank you guys, for your love, for your patience, for your advice. There's so many awesome people in my life right now, and I just want to shout out to you for being the best! So, I'm going to post this poem now, but I just want you to know, I am going to be trying really hard to write some music soon. The changing of the weather always gets me really excited and in the mood to write music. So, I hope to really accomplish the gift of writing some songs this year. And for now, I'll just be sharing any and all poems that come to mind. So, thanks for reading, thanks for all you do. Stay strong and I'll be with you soon. Thanks.
-Zach The weather is warm The sky is bright We laugh while grilling food So many hours until night The breeze has ceased Warm colors defeat A gloomy Sunday Where clouds do meet Chorus Where is the darkness Hasn’t it come to pass The trees are blooming My favorite season at last One of these days we’ll look back on the past Where troubles will fade And joy will last Together united In this battle not ours May this day be about you May you be blessed with many flowers |
