new music coming soon! (midnight blues)

Hey everybody! I hope that everyone is doing well during these tough times! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as we go through this and draw nearer to a conclusion and a solution to all of this. Hang in there as I've been thinking about all of you every day.

I've been writing some new poems and new melodies lately. I just wanted to share some of what I've written. I'll definitely be posting some new music soon and showing you guys what I've been working on. This one is titled, Midnight Blues and I wrote it only a few weeks ago.

Midnight Blues

So I sit, and I think of you.
We plan our day and what we're going to do.
Will I drift with the morning, well this is what I ask you.
I just sit and I ponder, the midnight blues.

So I've been washed by all of your love.
My eyes break open, and I can't get up.
There's freedom in the good old days, that is true.
Those days we so gently sang, the midnight blues.

So, I can't believe this love we're in.
I wonder how many days until I get to see you again.
TIl then, I'll just sit in the present moment.
And wonder through this life, I don't ever want to end.
So I think of we sang the midnight blues.

Those days when God roamed, wanting nothing but you.
He was there all along, under those starlit moons.
Those nights when we sang the midnight blues.
